Cedar Point Hawker Stall @ Taman Century,JB

Hi guys! How you celebrated your Christmas?

Kenny and I were going to Singapore and JB to celebrate our Christmas this year. We reached Johor Bahru on Christmas Eve and checked in Baguss Hotel, located at Taman Pelangi.

I didnt managed to take any photo of Baguss Hotel because we were too tired and directly poured our luggage once get into the room. I would recommend who looking for budget hotel to stay at Baguss Hotel due to it's strategic location and comfy room. Despite their outlook of renovating building, their big hotel room was clean, trendy & colorful yet simple design. Their wifi works very well here, have no problem to load my drama. LOL

Based on foursquare and some online review, we went to Cedar Point Hawker Stall which located nearby our hotel to have dinner.

Plenty of parking space here. FOC after 4pm.

We noticed that food stalls here were repeatably selling same type of food, exp Curry Fish Head, Grilled seafood, Fried noodles, Fried Osyter, Dai Chao, Pork satay and Beverages.

Yam Rice (RM2) with Pork Intestine Soup(RM7).  My all time favourite. Yam rice here was soso, don't have any yam cube. While pork intestine soup was ok, plenty pork slices given in the soup.

Pork knuckle in black vinegar (RM9). Taste wise. Generous amount of pork meat given, but mostly lean meat, too dry for us to chew. Didn't managed to finish this.

Sugar Cane juice (RM7 for big). I ordered less ice and the staff came back and told me need pay extra RM2 because less ice, means RM9 for this sugar cane juice.

Pork satay (RM0.80 per stick). Well balance proportion of fats and tender pork meat, satay sauce was ok too.

Grilled Monster Fish (RM18). Fish was fresh but sauce was not flavorful and spicy enough.

Not to forgot to mention that Kenny ordered plate of Fried Kuey Tiao which taste like normal economy fried noodles. The aunty came to our table and claimed need to pay extra RM1 because Kenny ordered big portion.

Conclusion, personally we felt that food here taste normal, not so delicious and wao as what people claimed on Foursquare and website. Premium price charge if compare to other food court nearby. It's first time in my life been asking to pay extra money after pay for the food and eating (Happened twice here).

We won't bother to pay another visit here again, prefer the food court which located opposite KSL mall (much more varieties and reasonable price charged).
