VinegPlus Bar @ Midvalley Megamall (LG Floor)

For quite sometimes, BOOST JuiceBar was always my favorite fruit juice option. Unfortunately, Mid Valley branch which always under filing, not even reach the line on the cup! After few times, I decided to clarify this matter with their staff but the answer i got was her black face and not even looking at me and impatiently answered 'It's reached the line" =.= Speechless.

By chance, we passing by Vinegplus, located outside Manhattan Fish Market/ Nando's, the staff walked to us to give us a try and some briefing on their beverages.

VinegPlus - The Vinegar Bar is the dawn of a new concept. It combines a vinegar and a modern concept, that is presented in a wide range of blended (with fresh fruits) and non-blended vinegar drinks, which is tasty and refreshing, but also reflects the wellness of natural fruit vinegar.

VinegPlus also market and retail a range of bottled vinegar, specifically to those who would like to share the products with their family and friends.

Fresh fruits

Menu. Blended Fruit Vinegar Smoothies & Fruit Vinegar Drinks with No sugar or Fruit Juice added.

You can choose choose your preference fruit vinegar with single/double fruit with only RM 1.00 different.

I choose Red Dragon Mango Joy in Jumbo Size! (RM10.90)

Simple and absolute healthy ingredient. Red dragon fruit, Mango, Vinegar, Water and Ice. And blend!

VinegPlus is aimed at promoting the culture of drinking healthy natural vinegar as a basis to enhance personal health and wellness to members of the public.

DALANG!

The friendly staff ( standing on cashier)!

Personally, I will choose VinegPlus from now on whenever i need a drink on Mid Valley. I would say VinegPlus was a much more healthier choice if compare to other juice bar which stated with 'No sugar added and 100% fruit juice'.

Some so called fruit juice was usually being processed and contain no nutritional value other than massive amount of sugar added. Unless u order FRESHLY SQUEEZED one. =(

Restaurant Yen Yen A One @ Old Klang Road

During Sunday, woke up late for brunch and Dim Sum was crossed my mind. We always go to Restaurant Jin Xuan @ Kuchai Lama but their food quality was not consistent, prefer Puchong branch.

We were lazy to drive far away to Puchong... We heard that recently Restaurant Yen Yen A One @ Old Klang Road was quite famous and highly recommended by some Facebook food lovers group, why not we give a try?

Yen Yen A One Restaurant was a typical Chinese Restaurant located at Old Klang Road, selling Chinese dishes and Dim Sum. What make them special they were selling Dim Sum 24/7 with a single price tag at RM 3 only!

Wide variety of Dim Sum from steamed, stewed, deep fried, porridge & Cheong Fun. Once we seated, we ordered Hot Chinese Tea and after we flagged our hand for awhile, finally a staff brought us their order slip.

Siew Mai with Salted Egg Yolk. A little piece of salted egg yolk inside siew mai. Taste normal.

Fish & Pork Roll. The sauce taste alike Thai Chili Sauce. This was yummy.

Prawn Cheong Fun. A layer of Cheong Fun with some prawn cube inside. Soy sauce was a bit salty. Sambal paste was ok. However, the single layer of Cheong Fun was not satisfying.

Stuffed Egg Plant. This dish was my all time favorite. It's quite delicious to be eaten together with Chili and sweet sauce.

Fried Yam Dumpling.

The yam filling was very thin and the BBQ Pork was a bit too sweet. Crispy and overall it's ok.

Shrimp Dumpling in Angelica (Dong Guai) Soup.

The dumpling was not up to standard but still acceptable. Angelica soup was very strong Dong Guai flavor.

Creamy Custard Bun.

Thumb up for the salted egg yolk custard. But too disappointing with the bun. The bun was very hard and dry.

Char Siew Pau.

Char Siew fillings was quite generous but slightly too sweet for our preference. The bun was having same problem as Custard bun which was very dry and hard.

Deep Fried Carrot Cake. Generous portion but we barely can taste carrot cake flavor and it's too sticky. Perhaps too much rice flour added.

Conclusion, the food here was very affordable and value for money, probably 1 of the cheapest Dim Sum around KL & PJ area. Eat whatever you want and no need to worry about the bill that would burn a hole in pocket. Meanwhile, the food was just average and advise that do not come here with high expectation. You get what you pay for.

ROCKU Yakiniku @ Pavilion KL

This weekend we were craving for BBQ! That's been a long time since our last visited to ROCKU Yakiniku.

ROCKU, a casual and edgy BBQ restaurant with the mixture of modern yet traditional concept. BBQ Buffet with 20 delectable dishes from delectable buffet spread with 100mins time limitation, price at Buffet Lunch WEEKDAY (RM39.90++) while Buffet Dinner & Buffet Lunch WEEKEND (RM49.90). Child 50% OFF.

There's only half occupancy inside restaurant, thus no line up needed as last time.

ROCKU also entertain their guest with live band performances that play modern and classic music with various genres such as Pop-Rock, Acoustic and Jazz.

Write your order on the order menu, ranging from beef to lamb, pork and chicken, flown in from Australia and New Zealand. Not to forget Shishamo, Salmon cube, Mussels and Enoki Mushroom in fossil cup! My favourite.

Pork collar

Bacon

Fresh Scallops, Mussels & Salmon Cube. A drizzle of saice over them!

In addition to BBQ option, generous range of cooked food. Salad, Kimchi and other marinated side dishes.

Fried spaghetti, rice, vege and dumplings.

Edamame Beans was provided too =)

Raw vege

Chawanmushi!

3 type of sauces. Enhance your food flavor with some dips! Spicy Miso, Ponzu, ROCKU Chilli Sauce.

Time to start BBQ!

Miso soup. Taste wise.

Cold Platter!

Refilled another plate of seafood!

My all time favorite. We cook scallops, broccoli, salmon in enoki fossils cup with some miso soup added! Yum!

Fresh and big scallops

Compared to our last visit, the pork selection wasn't taste as good as previously. Meat was too thin and dry. Thus, besides seafood and some cooked food, i ate oranges... Juicy... LOL

Nice ambiance and live band to dine in here. But 100mins limit is very limited time to wait for order, BBQ & eat.  Ice cream is not included and green tea is not refillable.=(

This can considered as satisfying and quite good value meal but only for seafood range rather than meat. Quality was dropped compared to our last visit. Quality control needed to bring back the crowd.
