Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant @ Mid Valley Megamall

Last weekend, instead of Chinese food as family weekend dinner, we were heading to Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant to fix our Western food craving.

Personally I prefer Chili's @ MidValley Boulevard among all their branches, better service and food taste with long queue as always. =p

Bottom-less Tostada Chips (RM 16.85). Their signature, thin warm and crispy corn tostada chips made fresh daily. Served with their signature homemade salsa. We wont skip from ordering this on every visit, try to refill as many time as u want!

Firecracker Fish Fillet (RM 29.20). Grilled dory fish fillet brushed with sweet and sour sauce. Side with seasonal veggies and rice. Nothing to shout about, we love the flavored rice and fresh broccoli.

Chicken Crisper (RM 27.40). Chili's famous strips of hand battered chicken. Served with sweet corn on the cob and home style fries. It's crispy and juicy, taste great eaten with chili sauce and honey mustard dressing. Love their sweet and juicy sweet corn!

Fish and Chips (RM28.35). Prime cut of white dory fish fillets fried with crispy batter. Serve with home style fries and tartar sauce.

2 big slices of dory fish fillet. Outer layer flour was okay this time, at least it's not repeating as our last visit which is very thick and not crispy at all.

My all time favorite fresh cutted fries, thick and you can taste real potatoes on every bites.

Mashed Potatoes w Black Pepper Gravy (RM 4.95). Irresistible and best mashed potatoes I eaten so far. Rough yet creamy. There's some of potatoes skin in mashed potatoes. Generous yummy portion with fair price charged!

Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream in cup (FOC). It's FOC as one of our family member was birthday during our visit. Perfect brownie mix with icy Vanilla ice cream was perfect!

We were having great time in Chili's as we chit chat while enjoying our delicious food and munching crispy chips with yummy salsa. But personally think that their staff service and friendliness can be improve, such as when you asking them to refill your chips and drinks more than once, their face expression were impatient.

IKEA Cheras @ Jalan Cochrane

IKEA opened it's 2nd Malaysian outlet in Cheras, Jalan Cochrane. This new outlet will be the biggest yet in Malaysia with an overall store size that is 20% larger than IKEA Damansara.

We paid our visit on the 1st weekend of it's grand opening because Kenny was urging to pay a visit there! The traffic was super duper heavy and congested in IKEA which was expected.

Show unit is much more varieties compared to Damansara outlet due to it's bigger store size.

Beautiful show unit! Can I have this pls =D

Elegance bathroom design!

After some walk around show units, we decided to have our late brunch first before continue to explore!

Well... We did lined up for our turn to get in IKEA Restaurant... around 10 mins... crazily crowded everywhere.

Kenny the hungry one, bought this table of food for me and him... 2 person sharing... LOL

Salmon with hollandaise sauce, boiled potatoes and long beans (RM 16.90). Salmon was fresh but abit over-cooked. Hollandaise sauce was tasteless, disappointing. I noticed that some of the salmon was very thin but luckily my salmon slice given was considered as quite thick.

Swedish Meatballs in Cream Sauce, side with Mashed Potatoes and Jam. ( RM6 for 5pieces ; RM12 for 10 pieces ; RM15 for 15 pieces ; RM18 FOR 20 pieces). Irresistible for Kenny whenever he paid visit to IKEA.

Baked Chicken Leg (RM13.90). Baked whole chicken leg with herbs sauce, side with mashed potatoes and cooked carrot slices.

Chicken leg taste plain while the sauce taste odd for both of us. Personally feel that the sauces here for salmon and chicken leg both were taste slightly different and odd if compared to what we had previously in Damansara outlet.

Mushroom soup (RM4.20).  Mushroom soup was okay with reasonable crushed mushroom, nothing to shout about.

Chicken Spring Roll (RM 1 each). Chicken Spring Roll was very crunchy with some minced chicken and vege inside.

Add on fries (RM4.20). Dry and thin fries. Definitely a NONO next time.

Almond Cake (RM6.30). This was our all time favourite! Layer of crushed almond with not too sweet cream. Best after meal dessert in IKEA.

Last but not least. Not to forget get ourselves HOTDOG BREAD before leaving! It just cost RM2. I have to highlight that their hotdog outer layer was crunchy and crispy, which was long lost in IKEA Damansara.

Bought this little wooden table (RM29.90) and comfy pillow (RM25.90). =D

Overall, we were happy with our first time visit here but we prefer Damansara IKEA which bring us feel comfortable and nicer food serves.

With a blink of eyes, here comes December, the last month of the year. A month of celebrations and public holidays (YAY!! =D), despite year end super duper busy with work lol.

Our first stop for this year Christmas Decor hunt is Pavilion KL since we were going to Givenchy to collect some stuff.

This year Pavilion KL together co-operate with Swarovski to decorate this well done Magnificent Christmas and make it as tallest Swarovski Christmas Tree in Asia.

You can catch the Light Show as it will run daily at 8pm until 4th January 2015 at the Bukit Bintang Entrance Pavilion KL.

Take your time to feel this joyful Christmas ambiance here, selfie and welfie with family and friends to capture the happy moment with such beautiful decor.

Love this gigantic cone! SO MUCH FANCY, ELEGANCE & CHRISTMAS FEEL! This gigantic cone's light was changing from blue to white routinely.

Personally, I prefer decorations along the staircase and Bukit Bintang Entrance, credit for those alike Swarovski diamond decor hanging on trees. Haha. =)  Since everyone were busy with selfie and welfie around, you might need to wait awhile for your turn!

Here's to wish all of my blog readers and followers a warm and Merry Christmas and fill up with love, joy and happiness! BUON NATALE! =D

Ocean Seafood Restaurant @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

Ocean Seafood Restaurant is Chinese restaurant which located at Bandar Puteri Puchong with the concept of RM15 per seafood dishes, which including crab, prawn, scallop, fish, sea cucumber, clams etc.

We were there around 9pm weekday, still we were on the waiting list. Luckily their turnover was quite fast. After around 20 mins, finally it's our turn!

Order our food while we were in waiting list. Managed to snap some photos of their menu while waiting for our turn!

We decided to order their signature Claypot Steam Grouper but only small size available on that day, Boiled Sea Cucumber with Mushroom and Buttermilk Prawn for 3 of us.

Claypot Steam Fish (Small) (RM15). Fresh grouper steamed cooked in claypot with sweet and salty soy sauce, stir fried ginger and shallot. This was the only dishes we thumb up and satisfied with. Taste awesome when mix this sauce eat together with white rice.

Buttermilk Prawn (Small) (RM 15). Medium size prawn was not fresh while buttermilk sauce was still acceptable. Will try to avoid ordering prawn on my next visit.

Claypot Boiled Sea Cucumber with Mushroom (RM 15). This definitely a NONO! Little pieces of hard chewy weird smell sea cucumber cooked with some mushroom and broccoli in weird taste sauce. We managed to finished this dish by dipping the claypot steamed grouper soy sauce.

Pumpkin and Barly Tea. Tasteless. Wont bother to order this again.

Overall, Ocean Seafood Restaurant was charging reasonable price but food standard and quality was not at par. Very depends on what dishes you ordering.

We saw almost every table of customers were ordering Crabs which the price was vary with the crab size. Sadly we were not fans with crab. =( However, I will definately pay another visit for their fishes, scallops, salted egg squids and clams!

Ze Yuan Seafood Restaurant @ Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highland

Whenever we pay our visit to Genting Highland, we will stopped by at Gohtong Jaya to have lunch or dinner first before heading to Genting. After we tried few restaurants there,  Restaurant Ze Yuan is our first choice whenever we visit Gohtong Jaya for it's delicious dishes and reasonable price charged.

Recently, we a group of 10 people visited Genting to have Starbucks and cold air breeze. Unexceptionally we headed to Restaurant Ze Yuan to have our dinner first. We ordered their famous Salted Egg Squid, White Beard Fish in Hot Pot, Crispy Fried Pork Belly, Claypot Tofu, Stir Fry Vege and Hokkien Mee.

We were happy with the short waiting time to serve dishes since all of us were starving!

Salted Egg Squid Tentacles (Big Portion) (RM 30). The dishes that we never skipped to order whenever we visited this restaurant. Fresh, chewy big size squid tentacles coated with very moreish salted egg. Thumb up!

White Beard Fish in Hot Pot (RM 45). Fish was fresh and cooked with soy sauce and ginger in the hot pot. Personally thought that this dish has nothing to shout about, although it's aromatic.

Crispy Fried Pork Belly (Big Portion) (RM 26). Crispy Fried Pork Belly is origin from one of the restaurant at Gohtong Jaya. Crispy, sweet and salty thinly sliced pork belly coated with caramelized Marmite sauce. Addictive plate of dish!

Claypot Tofu (RM 12). This is another dish I never skipped to order! Their homemade tofu was so tender and delicious!

Stirfry Tian Qi Vege (RM 12).  Fresh vege cooked with chopped garlic. Delicious!

Hokkien Mee (2 px) (RM 13). Wet style hokkien mee, Taste wise.

Total bill came to around RM 160 including 8 white rice and Chinese tea. Kinda reasonable priced I would say. You may skip from ordering fishes for budget wise.
