Restaurant Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee @ Damansara Utama

 
 
 
After we had Shibuya Honey Toast last weekend, we headed to Restaurant Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee to have dinner. The crowd was begun since 8pm and the queue started around 9pm.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 




















Hokkien Mee (2 px portion RM 17). Here they were serving wet style Hokkien Mee, topped with fried lard and it's so aromatic and full of wok hei.


It's sinfully delicious when you eat their noodles and crunchy fried lard together. Personally I feel it's a little bit too gravy for my own preference.










Black vinegar and sambal belacan. Their belacan was spicy and we love it!








 
 
Pork Soup ( 1 px portion RM 9.50). Pepper soup with generous amount of pork slices, fried egg and vege, topped with scallions.
 
 
When my first sip, I thought it's pork stomach soup because it's soup base was exactly taste alike, I love this. Pork slices was smooth and tender. While fried egg and scallions added aroma to this soup. Delicious!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 














Chicken Wing (RM 3.50 per wing). Very crispy and crunchy outer layer and chicken meat was tender and juicy. Thumb up for this. However, it's kinda expensive for charge RM 3.50 per chicken wing.









Overall, we were satisfied with our meal as all dishes we ordered were delicious. But somehow, personally I am much more prefer dry style Hokkien mee. Should try their crispy and crunchy roasted duck on our next visit since there's many good reviews!
