Lemontea Hotel @ Pratunam, Bangkok

“In matters of healing the body or the mind, vacation is a true genius!”

Last month - October'16, Kenny and I were on vacation to Bangkok for 6D5N to celebrate his birthday! At the same time, take a break from hectic work life.

We flied with Malindo Airline for first time to BKK, overall it's pretty good experience!

After two hours flight from KUL, we finally reached Don Mueng Airport. We spent 300baht for our 7 days TRUE Tourist Sim which have unlimited data and 100 THB call credit.

We booked our ride through UBER from Don Mueng Airport to Lemontea Hotel (430baht). Pretty convenient and economic compares to taxi.

Traffic was pretty bad around Victory Monument area because it's after 1 week of beloved King Bhumibol passed away. Thais mourning death of beloved King Bhumibol. Many black dressed Thais get off the van and bus and walked to BTS station and continue their journey to the Grand Palace through BTS.

Around 1hr30mins journey from airport, we reached Lemontea Hotel.

The concept of Lemontea Hotel - Staying here is much alike drinking a glass of lemon tea: “Casual, Easy, and Fresh”. Clearly seen in their decoration.

Friendly and helpful staff in Lemontea Hotel.

Welcome drinks upon arrival - Cold and nice lemon tea

We get our door card/ access card to get into entrance to elevator room and operate the elevator to our room.

Inside our room:

They provide a big fridge for each room! Amazing!

Clean, bright and nice room. Their air-cond was freezing!

Super nice night view of Lemontea Hotel

Lemontea Hotel considered as convenient due to:
  • 7-11 was right beside Lemontea Hotel.
  • Family-Mart was few shop away.
  • A lot massage shop on the same row of hotel.
  • Walking distance to shopping malls (around 10mins walking to Platinum Mall and 5mins walking to Pratunam Market)
  • Some local food stall on the alley beside hotel.

  • Tight security
  • Clean and comfy room
  • Big freezer!!!
  • Nice welcome drinks and workers

  • Location wise. But a bit inside if compare to other hotel on Pratunam area.
  • Far away from BTS Station.

Will come back for another stay? Most probably yes.

*Stay tuned for my upcoming BKK travel posts!
