For wine lover! You can take away your unfinished wine or leave it here for your next time visit!

Fresh Juices (RM11/glass). We choose Rise N Shine (grape, carrot, orange & apple) and Citrus C (grapefruit and orange). No water and sugar added!

Started appetizer with traditional Italian platter. Cured Ham & Cheese Platter (RM25/45). A gorgeous wooden plate fulfilled by prosciutto, salami, brie, cheddar, Parmesan, Jalapeno, Anchovy, capers, beetroot carrot salad, gremolato and crispy toast.

Prosciutto (Italian dried cured ham) & salami (cured sausage consisting of fermented and air-dried meat) both thin sliced. Taste savory and smooth. Crispy yet juicy spices sausage was awesome.

Generous portion of Brie(soft cow milk cheese), Parmesan and cheddar was satisfaction.

Grapes was so sweet and crunchy. I like their refreshing herbs condiments which consists tomato, onion, coriander, capers and lime.

Every single element should put together on top of crunchy thin toast, it's definitely well match and awesomely delicious.

Everything in a bite! Yum!

Tapas. Choose any 3 appetizer/ snacks from tapas menu for RM45. Coming with salad and toast/ fries/ garlic rice.

We choose Kachin Paprika Grilled Squid with basil mint pesto, Spanish Sliced Pork Belly with pumpkin corn mash & Grilled Chorizo with guacamole.

Kachin Paprika Grilled Squid with basil mint pesto. Squid was chewy, fresh and well seasoned. Love the sauteed cherry tomatoes. The salad on base was yummy. Recommend for squid lover.

Spanish Sliced Pork Belly with pumpkin corn mash. Well seasoned and tender grilled pork belly. Pumpkin corn mash made from fresh sweet pumpkin was a wow!

Grilled Chorizo with guacamole. Springy spicy chorizo is a must order for sausage lover.

House salad was awesomeeeeeee ❤❤❤

Mushroom potato thyme soup (RM10). Coming with toast which drizzle with olive oil and herbs. Mushroom soup was rich with mushrooms fillings and we gave full score based on our liking.

Wild Honey Pork Chop (RM32). Grilled pork chop with caramelized apple pear, pumpkin corn mash, wild honey and thyme.

Tender pork chop, sweet and sour caramelized pear and poured the sweet wild honey on top. It's definitely a whole new taste experience for us. Yummy!

Pesto Grilled Salmon with Asparagus Guacamole (RM35). Generous serving size of perfectly grilled salmon topped with basil cashew nut pesto, sauteed asparagus, rocket, avocado, tomato and herbs.

I would say everything in this plate was perfect for my liking. Especially their avocado and tomato salad! Thumb up!

Soft Shell Crab & Prawn Risotto (RM33). See the 2 deep fried large prawn and a soft shell crab on top of risotto!! Risotto is rice cooked in prawn broth, tomato purees and spices, side with rocket salad.

Risotto was flavorful with prawn broth and tomatoes, love it's creamy texture. Large prawns and soft shell crab were huge and fresh. I would say this dish is value for money.

Delicious healthy food with MSG free! Much enjoyed!

See the wild honey glass container? It's sources from orang asli.

We love the ambiance here. It's quiet, clean, cozy and welcoming.

Will we back again? Definitely yes to try out their remaining hearty dishes on the menu.

Cabbages and Condoms, Bangkok

After checked in Lemontea Hotel, we headed to Erawan Shrine to pray by Tut-Tut.

After prayed, we headed to Cabbages and Condoms Restaurant for lunch and walk around Terminal 21 since they are nearby.

BTS from Chitlom station (Erawan Shrine) to Asok station (Terminal 21).

Walked pass Times Square and some alleys...

Around 10mins walking from Asok station, finally we reached Cabbages and Condoms!

Cabbages and Condoms is run by a non profit organization - The Population and Community Development Association (PDA) which focuses on family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention.

All profit of your meal is going to a good cause which support the PDA's development programme in primary health, education, HIV/AIDS, rural development, environment and water etc.

Throughout the restaurant there are a series of mannequins dressed in colored condoms displayed around the restaurant, making bold statements for a good cause. Make sure you bring your camera!

Plenty of interesting things to look at in the entrance.

 Safety poster.

We choose indoor seat since it's raining when we were there.

Staffs were efficient and guided us to our table and handed us menu. Their menu comes with plenty of choices with pictures! Hence, there's no problem with ordering although some of their staffs do not understand English.

Cabbages and Condoms' menu offers impressive range of Thai traditional Thai food, desserts and vegetarian dishes as well!

Started our appetizer with Chaw Muang (150 Baht). Steamed minced chicken and onion wrapped in dough. Each dumpling is handcrafted with perfection into a rose petal for the appearance.

The dough purple color is from the color of the butterfly pea flower while the filling (minced chicken & onion) was sweet yet aromatic. Yummy!

I ordered Khao Phad Nam Phrik Long Reua (170 Baht). Fried rice with spicy shrimp paste, side served with sweet pork, salted egg & pickled garlic.

Fried rice taste sweet and I understand this is Thai local flavour, a bit odd to me because the fried rice i eaten before this were savory. Surprisingly I found it quite yummy and finished the whole plate of food. Sweet pork taste quite nice. I recommend that you combine each of the component on the plate and eat it one shot, it will turned out much more yummy.

Khao Kluke Kapi Moo Wan (170 Baht). Shrimp paste fried rice, side served with sweet pork, fresh mango, shred egg,and shallot.

This fried rice taste savory! Goes well with all sides. But still I prefer my Spicy shrimp paste fried rice!

Tom Yum Talay (250 Baht - Regular). Thai spicy seafood soup.

Generous portion of seafood (fish fillet, squid & prawn) in the soup. Creamy, rich and addictive combination of herbs and spices. Not too spicy and suits people who have lower tolerance of spiciness.

Mango Sticky Rice ( Small - 120 Baht). Thumb up!!! The mango was super juicy and sweet! Sticky rice was good too!

Tub Tim Krob (90 Baht).  Boiled cube water chestnut coated with tapioca flour, jackfruit, young coconut with syrup and crushed ice.

This was good. Crunchy fresh water chestnut in just alright sweetness coconut milk for my liking, accompanied by young coconut and jackfruit flesh, refreshing!

Lin Jee Loi Kae (90 Baht). Lychee with crushed ice and syrup. Nothing to shout about. Tin can lychee with crushes ice.

When we paid the bill, we received complimentary condoms lol

I would say this visit was a fun and unique experience. Service was very attentive. Their food taste was slightly above average and so do the price charge. The location might not strategic as it is on an alley and not be easily found.

Do drop your visit for a meal for good cause if you are around Terminal 21!
