The world largest weekend market - Chatuchak Weekend Market (also known as JJ Market) has reached it's landmark status as a MUST VISIT PLACE for tourists.

Due to its sheer size and diverse collection of merchandise and food, you spend whole day here just to shop and eat without realize time flies. Although not all at best bargain rate, but most of the clothes and hand made goods here were design by individual designer, you can get pretty nice and special clothes and goods here.

I would like to share my food hunted at Chatuchak Weekend Market on this post with you guys, hope you enjoy!

Pratunam Morning Market @ Pratunam, Bangkok

Time to shop for new clothes since Chinese New Year is around the corner! Pratunam Morning Market is a well known major market which selling clothes and accessories at wholesale price. You can get your single or few pieces of clothes here at cheaper price too! Buy at least 3 pieces in a shop or same design and you can bargain for 130BAHT/clothes!

After had soup noodles as breakfast, we bought a cup of Thai Milk Tea from a beverage stall nearby our hotel (outside 7-11 / Pratunam night market street) before start our mission!

Variety of drinks to choose from.

Thai Milk Tea (25BAHT). Condensed milk and tea with less sugar. Taste quite good.

Pratunam Morning Market is fulfilled with tiny stalls and shops, enter the small alley and congested small street and you will find yourselves in the middle of clothes maze!

Recommend that go inside those shops which located opposite this pink color sign board 'Tuang Sub Plaza'. You can find casual fashionable clothes here!

An hour later.. Spent less than 3000 BAHT!

Helped my brother to get trousers at 250 BAHT/piece. Trousers material and cutting were good.

After put our shopping spree in hotel, we explored to The Platinum Mall! There's a row of food stalls outside the mall!

Morning Market – Everyday from 05.00 to 09.00 (cheapest section & wholesale shopping)
Normal Market – Everyday from 08.00 to 15.00
Evening Market – Everyday from 05.00 to 21.00

Oyster Omelette

Nothing to shout about

Thai style dumpling

Sneaked into The Platinum Mall Food Court to find my memorable Kuay Chap and Somtum.

Taste not as good as my last 2 years visit.

Somtum was good as last 2 years my visit.

Too sweet. Barely can taste tea flavor.

After fed our stomach,we walked around The Platinum Mall since Kenny want to buy some clothes from here. Price here is certainly higher than Pratunam Morning Market but with comfortable air cond environment and organized.
