My French Factory @ Pantai Chenang,Langkawi

My French Factory, claim as the must go cafe/restaurant in Langkawi and highly rated in Trip Advisor. So,we were here to try their crepe!

We passing by this little French spot everyday as it's located beside Chenang Mall, around 300m from Royal Agate Beach Resort.

This small cafe was running by a French couple who dedicated to serve authentic French crepe with organic buckwheat flour and gluten free ingredients.

Creative & passionate of the owner can be seen through this blackboard decoration.

Menu. They were serving Crepe in Sweet or Savory, Waffle and beverages.

The Malay lady staff came and took our order. Since we were in hurry to have a quick bite before heading to airport, we ordered Homemade Dark Chocolate Crepe and Ice Lemon Tea.

A few mins later, the staff served me the hot chocolate drinks and we told her that we didn't order but she insisted. But it's alright since Homemade Hot Chocolate drinks was one of their signature. The lady boss came over and took our crepe order.

Homemade Hot Chocolate (RM8). Taste good. I love to eat the cream on top before taste the drinks.

Homemade Dark Chocolate Crepe (RM13). The crepe was soft, topped with dark chocolate and some icing sugar. It's definitely yummy.

The french lady boss waived the hot chocolate drinks from our bill and this was out of our expectation.

The crepe was delicious with wide varieties and also available with 'make on your own' (Choose your own toppings). The signature dark chocolate drinks doesn't disappoint me. The price here was quite expensive though.

I would say that their crepe was definitely delicious, but doesn't really as WAO as what I read on Trip Advisor reviews, perhaps I put too high expectation.

My French Factory is a good place to spend your relax holiday tea time and fix your desserts cravings.

Seashells Chenang @ Laman Padi, Langkawi

We had our dinner at Seashells Chenang @ Laman Padi after Island Hopping. Seashells Chenang located at Pantai Chenang, opposite Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort.

Entrance

When we stepped into entrance, we were WAO by the decoration, surrounding and ambiance. Seashells Chenang maintaining the Malay Kampung ambiance, inherits the Sawah Padi (Paddy Field) of Kedah Influence.

You can choose to have table seat or on top of the pavilion (Pondok Atap) floor seat.

We choose to have seat on top the pavilion in between the rice field.

Menu. Seashells Chenang serving Nasi Periuk Kukus Platter with variety of the choices such as Lamb Shank, Chicken, Beef Rendang and Fish Sea-bass.

No air-cond but fan available. It's quite windy that day. We feel so natural and basic to have our food by sitting on floor and standing fan.

Paddy field view on night time.

Apple + Orange + Carrot (RM 25 Per Jug). Taste refreshing and no sugar added. Thumb up.

Nasi Periuk Kukus Betis Kambing (Lamb Shank). 3 person portion RM65.00

Rendang Lamb Shank coming with steamed rice, salted egg, onion soup, cracker, deep fried potato cake, fried bean curd, local style salad and sambal belacan.

Lamb Shank. The rendang taste good but sadly the main character of this meal was a failure. Part of the lamb shank was burnt and overcooked.Too dried to swallow.

Steamed rice was good and fragrant. Topped with shallots.

Sambal belacan was good too. Taste authentic. Thumb up!

My plate of rice. Some fragrant steamed rice with salted egg, raw cabbage, un-burnt lamb meat, cracker and topped with onion soup. Authentic kampung style plate of rice and sides.

Walking among the paddy field. Accompanied by insects chirps.

The map of Laman Padi. They have hotel (The Gemalai) too!

We do enjoy our dinner and fruit juice at paddy field with very calm, relaxing and natural feelings. Staffs were polite. The food was authentic kampung style Malay dishes. Unfortunately the main dish (lamb shank) was a NONO and food was not hot.

Food quality and service speed has a big room for improvement. Hopefully they can maintain this unique restaurant by not only attracting customer by interior and view, but the food, which play the most important role for a restaurant.

Overall, it's a rare dining experience we can get in the city or other tourist spot. You should come to experience it.

Island Hopping Tour @ Langkawi

A beautiful morning view to welcome our Day 2 in Langkawi!

After breakfast, time to change bikini and go for Island Hopping Tour.

We booked our island hopping tour via our car rental agent with reasonable price (RM25).

Island hopping tour is a must do activity in Langkawi. They will take you to 3 islands by boat for 4 hours - Lake of the Maiden Island, Eagle Watching & Beras Basah Island. They have 2 tour per day - 9am or 2pm.

The local agent fetched us around 1.30pm at our hotel by van. There's 5 people in total including ourselves.

Sea breeze. So much love with this feelings. Away from hectic city life and works, enjoy strong wind and sea water smell.

Selfie when departure!

1. Lake of the Maiden Island

Yeah! We were here! 1st island!

Beware of ur belongings and bags because monkeys here not afraid of human and might snatches your belongings.

 We were here!

The lake of this legendary island

We gonna spend an hour here. You can opted for swimming or solar boat (with extra charges) or walk around.

We choose solar boat to explore around.

Simple to operate and drive under sun light for faster speed.

The natural scenary

*Entrance fee applicable and compulsory to enter this park.

 2. Eagle Watching

A very short 5 minutes visit. Watching eagle swirl around for food feed by boat operator

3. Beras Basah Island

The main reason why I cant skip Island Hopping Tour whenever visit Langkawi. Beautiful and serene island with white sand and crystal clear blue water.

There's no beach activity here. So just spend your time to stroll on the beach, swim or do nothing and relax yourselves here.

This not well developed island which has enabled it to maintain it's beauty.

There's no toilet and only a stall selling snacks here. Beware of monkeys and take care of your belongings as they have a tendency to sneak and grab your things.

Swimming! Be careful when you swim as the water here was shallow. Rocks and corals might hurt your leg.

*My leg was hurted and bleeding because cut by coral when tried to stand in the water* T.T

Wefie

It's definitely worth every penny you pay. Make sure you get the reasonable price from honest tour agent. You might ask recommendation from your car rental agent or beach side. Enjoy the beauty of nature and relax yourselves during the tour. =)

Note:
Recommend to bring a towel, sunscreen, water and power bank (in case you have lots of photo to be taken) in your BACKPACK. AVOID HANDBAG because it's gonna be very inconvenient during the tour.
