Beautiful view breakfast @ Rooftop Bar, Royal Agate Beach Resort Langkawi

Feeling so relaxed and energized when woke up in the morning and welcomed by this beautiful blue sky and sea view =D

My stomach was drumming! After clean ourselves and apply sunscreen lotion! Here we go! Complimentary breakfast from Royal Agate Beach Resort. 


Breakfast was at Rooftop Bar which overlooking the ocean and Chenang street with a nice vibe! 1 of the main reason why I will choose Royal Agate Beach Resort.

Deco was simple and colorful.

At the start, we choose the wooden sofa which facing sea view. Beautiful view but too sunny and hot because didn't seems to have any cover so there's no shade. Thus, changed our seat to round table with shade.

Don't skip to order their omelette! It's so yummy!

Generous portion of ham, mushroom, onion & cheese!

Fried mee & rice, fried omelette, beans & sausages. Personally prefer all of above except fried mee, abit too spicy for me.

Sunny side eggs!

Hard boiled egg with runny egg yolk!

 Sinfully delicious Chocolate spread on toast! This is how we should eat during holiday!

Conclusion, I would say that they were serving delicious breakfast but with very limited choices. Staffs were friendly and attentive. Great view of beach and sunset from rooftop bar but it would be perfect if there's cover or shades for seating area. Recommend to come during evening to have a drinks and enjoy the beautiful Chenang view!

Perhaps this hotel was still new and improvement are otw...

Yellow Cafe @ Pantai Chenang,Langkawi

We had our dinner at Yellow Cafe after an excited explore @Panorama Langkawi. It's located on Chenang beach side and famous with sunset view.

This cafe was running foreigner couple. This cafe / restaurant serving Western food such as Steaks, Pizzas, Salads, Sandwiches and a wide assortment of Beer, Cocktails, Milkshakes and Wine.

We were there around 9.30pm, walking to Yellow Restaurant (Opposite our seating area) since the view was completely facing Chenang beach, but the staff told us that the area has closed. >.<

Serving time was fast

Ordered ourselves Lemon Tea (RM 6). The most budget drinks in the menu. Taste wise.

Chicken Pizza (RM 34). The pizza was awesome. Generous toppings with cheese, pineapples & chicken slices on top of thin crunchy base.

Wishes to order 2 different flavor pizza but 1 was more than enough for us. It's portion was quite big.

Never ever forget to request Tabasco for pizza!

Overall, we were quite satisfied for our meal, the pizza was absolutely fresh from oven and yummy. Although the price is slightly pricey than average but it's worthy ( Yummy pizza on beach side!). 

Staff was friendly and entertaining. Ambiance was cozy and relaxing beach view. Definitely will come earlier for sunset view on my next visit to Langkawi!!!

Panorama Langkawi / Langkawi SkyCab & SkyBridge

After our brunch, we depart to one of the most exciting tourist spot in Langkawi - Langkawi SkyCab...!! The steepest cable car ride on South East Asia!


Langkawi SkyCab is located just north of another beautiful tourist spot of Telaga Harbour, with the entrance within Oriental Village at the foot hill of the Mat Chincang mountain range.


Around 30 mins driving time from Chenang and 20 mins of driving from Langkawi Airport.

Purchase your ticket at Panorama Langkawi entrance.  Admission Fee for ADULT (RM45) CHILD (RM32) ( 2-12 Yrs Old)

Time to explore!

There are 3 stations along the cable car line - Base, Middle and Top Station. The cable car ride will bring you all the way up to about 708 meters above sea level. 

There's no queue up needed since we paid our visit on Monday. After a long ride of cable car and 360-degree breathtaking view... We reached middle station!



Choice to have a short walk through Jungle Walk (RM5) or SkyGlide (RM20) to reach 3 verticle chimneys.

Middle station provides the access to the eastern cliffs with its 3 vertical chimneys and the beautiful 360 degree views!

Enjoy panoramic view of the main island as well as the many surrounding island!

At Top Station, make your payment to access Sky Bridge. Enjoy the two viewing platforms at the top of Machincang mountain.

Enjoy the 2 viewing platforms at the Top Station!

Sky Bridge!!! Wonderful view and breeze! Enjoy the wind after sweat from hiking just now!

We were starved for lunch before heading to Panorama Langkawi. There's a Malay Style Cafe right beside our hotel and  we decided to give a try!

There's kinda wide variety of food choices here, from Malay, Western & Thai Style to choose from.

 Order Milo Ice & Sirap Ice... Try to defeat the hot weather.

 Nasi Goreng Kampung. Big portion and full of wok hei. Delicious! 

Waited almost an hour for this fried rice because they missed my order!

Tomyum Seafood. Sour and little spicy with fresh squid & prawn. Suitable for those who have lower tolerance with spiciness.

Fried Kailan with Salted Fish. Stir fried kailan with onion, carrot & salted fish cubes, topped with fried shallots. Taste average.







Overall, the food here was acceptable but not for the beverages. 


Waiting time would be long because the kitchen was handle by 2 Malay granny only. That's why you can taste 'mama homey" taste dishes here. 


Price here was reasonable, total damage was around RM20.
