Found a hidden gem at Taman OUG!
HK Style Chee Cheong Fun was my all time favorite, but hardly can be found on normal restaurant except dim sum shop which charged premium price with small portion. By coincidence, I found this HK Style chee cheong fun stall when Kenny wanted eat his favorite chicken rice @ Restaurant Eng Huat Kopitiam(荣发茶餐室).
This Kopitiam located nearby Taman OUG morning market.
This HK Style chee cheong fun stall was truly a hidden gem!! Available with 2 toppings:prawn or diced char siew. (Small portion:RM5.50; Big portion RM6.50).
Prawn HK Style chee cheong fun (RM6.50). Generous portion was my first impression. Made fresh and silky smooth with just alright thickness. Slipping into throat without much chew needed. Prawn toppings was very fresh and crunchy, generously wrapped in rice roll.
Probably the most generous toppings HK style chee cheong fun i ever ate before. 😋
Despite prawn toppings, we tried diced char siew and plain rice noodle roll too.
We prefer prawn toppings and plain rice noodle roll. This plain rice noodle roll tastes so good and silky smooth by itself.
The well seasoned soy sauce and chilli sauce were another plus point. Ask for extra soy sauce if needed. 👍👍
Our take away plain chee cheong fun (Big portion-RM4) W.I.P
I would say here was a good lunch spot! This HK Style chee cheong fun stall served good quality chee cheong fun with affordable price. Value for money. 👍
Despite Chee Cheong Fun, the fish ball noodles stall which in front of chee cheong fun stall was good! Not to forget chicken rice too!
