Stay at home afternoon tea set with Union Artisan Coffee

Hope everyone is safe and doing well during MCO period. Please stay home as much as possible and good personal hygiene to stay safe!

During MCO period, we are encouraged to stay at home for our own health and safety. Last time I prefer my Sunday to chill with a cup of coffee and desserts at cafe with my laptop and novel. Nowadays we have to chill at home.

Last Sunday I was craving for desserts for tea time. Weather was too hot to drive out take away. Hence, I online ordered a slice of Burnt Cheesecake and house brew Cold Brew Coffee ☕ from Union Artisan Coffee. They have delivery service for their food/desserts/beverages during MCO period.

Set of afternoon tea - Cold Brew White and Burnt Cheesecake. Perfect Sunday afternoon. 👌

Smooth nutty taste Cold Brew White from selected coffee beans which are roasted in house.

Creamy smooth texture for Burnt Cheesecake with gooey centre. Rich taste yet refreshing.

Personally I love their Cold Brew White very much and definitely will order again for this set of afternoon tea from Union Artisan Coffee! 👌

HK Style Chee Cheong Fun@ Eng Huat Kopitiam (荣发茶餐室) Taman OUG

Found a hidden gem at Taman OUG!

HK Style Chee Cheong Fun was my all time favorite, but hardly can be found on normal restaurant except dim sum shop which charged premium price with small portion. By coincidence, I found this HK Style chee cheong fun stall when Kenny wanted eat his favorite chicken rice @ Restaurant Eng Huat Kopitiam(荣发茶餐室).

This Kopitiam located nearby Taman OUG morning market.

This HK Style chee cheong fun stall was truly a hidden gem!! Available with 2 toppings:prawn or diced char siew. (Small portion:RM5.50; Big portion RM6.50).

Prawn HK Style chee cheong fun (RM6.50). Generous portion was my first impression. Made fresh and silky smooth with just alright thickness. Slipping into throat without much chew needed. Prawn toppings was very fresh and crunchy, generously wrapped in rice roll.

Probably the most generous toppings HK style chee cheong fun i ever ate before. 😋

Despite prawn toppings, we tried diced char siew and plain rice noodle roll too.

We prefer prawn toppings and plain rice noodle roll. This plain rice noodle roll tastes so good and silky smooth by itself.

The well seasoned soy sauce and chilli sauce were another plus point. Ask for extra soy sauce if needed. 👍👍

Our take away plain chee cheong fun (Big portion-RM4) W.I.P

I would say here was a good lunch spot! This HK Style chee cheong fun stall served good quality chee cheong fun with affordable price. Value for money. 👍

Despite Chee Cheong Fun, the fish ball noodles stall which in front of chee cheong fun stall was good! Not to forget chicken rice too!

Short getaway to Langkawi Island

Spent my short holiday on Langkawi Island! ✈

Time to fly

Pretty good experience fly with MAS, light refreshment and friendly air crew.

While waiting to check in hotel, have a long lost reading time 😎 at Starbucks! ☕ Syok+relax! 😇

After checked in Royal Agate Resort, continue some reading while waiting for dinner time.

Book & Sea View = Perfect 💓

Dinner@ Royal Agate Resort Rooftop

Went to the hotel rooftop to have dinner.

Lemon Tea

Wedges. It's good and generous portion given.

Beef Burger, side with salad.

Chicken Burger. Taste awesome.

Beautiful view of sunset. 💓💓💓

Fruit Orchard Visiting at Langkawi @ Mardi Agro Technology Park

Our second stay at Royal Agate Hotel.

Breakfast at Royal Agate Hotel. Breakfast was far away behind standard compare to our 1st stay at here.😓 According to worker, their chef left to 5 star hotel and currently this outsourced kitchen was running by backpackers. Hopefully the outsourcer will improve their food quality and taste.

After breakie, we went to Mardi Agro Tech Park.

The 35 hectare Mardi Agro Tech Park is an agriculture tourist destination in Langkawi. Admission fee charge RM25 (Adult) RM10 (Children)/ RM7(Adult,Malaysian IC Holder) and RM3(Children,Malaysian)

The park is located next to Lubuk Semilang Recreational Park in Padang Matsirat and within short driving distance from Kuah town and the airport.

For a minimal fee you can sample fruits, such as watermelon, starfruit, guava and seasonal fruits as stated on the board.

Specialized sight seeing trucks with covered roof brought us around the fruit orchard.

We were like on a roller coaster as the truck went up and down the hill around the fruit orchard. Windy and exciting ride with beautiful natural scenery. 👍

Fruit tasting period after first half short visit around the orchard. There were starfruit, pineapple, watermelon, pamelo, banana and honeydew on our visit. Fruits were ok. Nothing to shout about. You can purchase sweet sour plum powder from the fruit counter to enhance your fruit flavor.

Fresh and sweet coconut was available to purchase at fruit counter too!

Grape farm

The guide would stop the truck when come to a new fruit orchard. First time in my life to visit a grape farm and understand the growth of grapes!

Visitors will also get to see the latest farming technologies like hydroponics and fertigation.

Our guide was funny and friendly which was a plus point to this visit.

There's some interesting photo taking session and others fruit farms visiting. What attracted me was the truck experience, grape farm and fruit buffet! Will definitely come back during my next visit to Langkawi Island again.

We ordered Ice Lemon Tea (RM8) and Mango Lassi (RM10)

Deep Fried Snow Fish (RM30). Snow fish fillet seasoned in tempura batter, served with thick cut fries and salad. Simple and humble yet delicious. The batter was light and aromatic, while the fish fillet was cooked just right.

Fresh and thick cut of fish fillet. 😋😋

Chicken Chop (RM21). Grilled chicken chop topped with black pepper sauce, side with thick cut fries and salad. Taste wise, a good choice if you looking something other than fish and chips.

Beautiful scenery carved in my brain. Beautiful crystal clear sea, blue sky, wave, breeze and a dog running on the beach together with it's owner.

Overall, Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant is recommended to stop by for lunch or dinner. Rarely can find a place which serve good fish and chips on the beautiful beach!

The Royal Project Foundation Store @ Don Mueang International Airport

The Royal Project Foundation was initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to improve the livelihoods of Thai highland communities replacing opium for the fruits, coffee & tea, and vegetables. When there's fruits from plantation, Thai highland communities will process their gains into products and selling at The Royal Project Shop.

Thus, The Royal Project Shop is a place where it's products which were grown, produced and sent from Highland of Thailand to each store freshly or processed goods.

Since Malindo airline flight was at Don Mueang Airport, by opportunities we visited The Royal Project Shop to get some souvenirs!

 Located beside Departure Gate.

Olive leaf extract lotion (50 Baht). I bought this to try! Watery base and non sticky. Convenient for lady to put in hand bag and apply whenever needed.

Dried Guava Slices. I like this so much. I can taste guava flesh and not too sweet. Thumb up. 👍

Dried Mango Slices. A must buy. I can eat the mango flesh and it's not dried at all. Different from other dried mango slices in the market I tried before. 💓

Pumpkin Crackers. Crispy cracker rich with pumpkin taste. 2 thumb up! 😋👍👍

Enoki Mushroom Crackers!!! Not usually can be found in market! I love this too! 😋

My 1st tried on The Royal Project Project Shop didn't disappointing me! I would say I will buy their dried fruits snacks and crackers in BULKSSS on my next visit! Not to forget their famous royal milk tablet as well.
